I took my annual summer sabbatical back to Iowa this past month to visit family and friends. It was a great recess – even if I had a heap of creative, personal, and professional challenges on my mind. Summer is a fine time for such pensive behavior, of course. I’ve also included documentation of a multi-faceted exhibition I participated in at the Model KE Building in Ellensburg, WA as part of Barnstorm 2018 and the laurel for another film festival I showed in (this time in Palena, Italy). Finally, I threw in some new and old art, as my 5th grade teacher from way back when serendipitously sent me a photo of a drawing I gave him as a little lad. Next time we meet, the fall semester will be in full swing.
