If it’s the February blog post, then we must have started another semester – and I’ve got the unique mix of anticipation, exhaustion, excitement, and dread to prove it! We begin with a standard first day of class photo. As you can see, I forwent the winter coat and forchose the bomber jacket (EDITOR'S NOTE – The weather varied widely over the course of this month. I am, in fact, typing this post during an early out snow day and anticipate class cancellations tomorrow too, as we’re expected to receive over a foot of snow through the night and into the morning). In anticipation of the Iowa Caucuses, I began inking GOP candidates (though I’d better hurry if I want them to be timely, as it’s likely a heap of them will drop out after Iowa / New Hampshire), and I had one last needle-felting hurrah before retiring the wool for a little while. Another month down, Old Man Winter. You’re pretty, but you’re cold, and you make my commute sad.
