…And so begins another semester (can't you tell? that's a "first day of class" photo if you ever saw one)! Summer 2015, you were lovely, but I’ve got to be rambling on. I had two solid weeks of meetings before classes picked up, so it feels like school began ages ago. It’s always a bit overwhelming to transition back to the rigor of a school year, but I’ll get there. Most of what you see here is work I’ll include in my upcoming exhibition at the Mathis Gallery on the University of Wisconsin-Parkside campus in mid-October. I’ll fly out on a Friday, hang the show, work with the students, and return in time for my Tuesday afternoon Foundations 2D class. It’ll be a blast – if an exhausting one. Also, I splurged on novelty Biggie Smalls socks.
